Gbonyo Party (Dead Person’s Party) Short Film is inspired by a song of the name by Ghanaian musician Marince Omario. It touches on the theatricality and nuances of Ghanaian funerals and burial culture, love and rebirth. It is a visual introspection of what it means to be alive and deceased.
